Bald Guy Designs Golf Hat for Bald Men
A new headwear company has hit the market with a very specific target audience, bald golfers. “Traditional golf hats just don’t cut it if you have a receding hair line or no hair at all.” said Steve Aronson, a very bald man, when he announced today the launch of 4HeadWear.com.
According to Aronson the big name golf equipment companies dominate the golf hat market. “Brands like Titleist, Callaway, Taylor Made and all the others really don’t put much thought into the design of their hats. They are interested in the big profit margin hats offer and getting more exposure for their logo on the front of the hat. We really don’t care about exposure for our logo and can’t possibly make the profit margins the big guys enjoy due to the limited quantities we purchase. We care about comfort and the ability to machine wash the hats to remove those ugly sweat stains”
4HeadWear is introducing three styles of hats, The BaldGuy™, The 4Head™, and The Bandit™ hats. All three designs are 33% lighter than traditional golf hats. All designs are machine washable and claim to offer the best moisture wicking capabilities available.
Aronson says he designed the hats from the inside out for maximum comfort and found the most comfortable, lightest, high-tech materials available that look and feel great. “Traditional golf hats come with a number of annoyances for those of us who do not have a full head of hair. One of the most annoying is the embroidery that comes through over the forehead area. It is rough and prevents sweat from wicking out of the hat where we sweat the most. The fabric that touches the forehead on 4HeadWear hats is soft and comfortable.”
Another annoyance Aronson pointed out is the metal button on top of the hat. “Bald guys understand this. That little metal button is an uncomfortable touch point and it conducts heat, which just makes us sweat more. 4HeadWear hats have been designed to eliminate this unnecessary feature and the result is much cooler head and better appearance.”
Sweat stains on the hat are a common problem all golfers face. Washing them in a machine will ruin the hat so many golfers wash them in a dishwasher. “I’ve been washing traditional golf hats in the dishwasher for years and have even invested in those plastic forms to help keep the shape of the hat. It’s better than nothing but after a few rounds in the dishwasher the hat is done. It just never feels or looks as good as when it was new. That’s not the case with 4HeadWear hats. The materials we use are 100% machine washable. The hats come out of the washer sweat stain free and looking like they did on day one. You can wash as much as you like and they will keep on performing. The hats do not need to be dried as they come out of the washer ready to wear. A true testament to the moisture wicking ability of our materials.” Aronson explained.
4HeadWear’s tagline is, “Use Your Head. Feel The Difference.” Aronson admits not everyone gets it, “guys with a full head of hair just don’t ‘feel’ it but when a bald guy or a guy with a receding hairline tries on the hat they feel the difference immediately. The first thing they notice is how light the hat is and next they notice the comfortable feel, particularly on the forehead area. None of our hats have that hard edge brim you find on every other hat. And we place a double layer of moisture wicking material over the forehead without any embroidery coming through to irritate the head.”
The list of features is pretty long and Aronson covers them all on his web site, where he sells his hats for bald men . He has even posted a video on his site where explains them in great detail and for those that watch it to the end there is a special offer which he changes on a regular basis.
